It finally feels like fall!

Dear Parents,

We thoroughly enjoy working with your children each day. Our trip to Glen Helen is only a few weeks away! Next Friday we will meet with the students to discuss the trip details and hand out a packet of important information such as the packing list and emergency form. Expect this packet to come home in your Child's Friday folder next week. On November 30, the director of Glen Helen will give a presentation to students. If you would like to come to the presentation, you are welcome. It will be at 12:30 p.m. and will last 30-40 minutes. Of course, if you have any questions, please send an email to your child's teacher.

The students are working hard in math. We are practicing long division and estimating quotients. Next we will solve word problems using multiplication and division.

Our next focus in social studies is Ohio's Native Americans. This is a favorite topic among the students. We will incorporate some research and group work into the unit of study.

We sure do have a lot to accomplish in a very short amount of time before winter break. Time is flying by! Enjoy the fall weekend with your precious children.
